Global Hotkey Blocker
Uses a Global Hotkey to block annoying hotkeys in other applications.
Will register a 'Global Hotkey' for the F1 - F12 keys to facilitate use of that button. If an application name is listed in the text box for a given Fx key, that application will NOT receive that keystroke. All other applications will.
Multiple Keys and multiple applications can be configured simultaneuously.
Suggested Use Cases:
- Blocking F1 keys
- F1 is usually used for 'help', but the resultant help information is rerely helpful, but can often take time to come up. This tool can bock the accidental F1 keystroke.
- Blocking specific functionality from an application
- Some specific aplications may not follow common hotkey configurations and what F2 does in one program may do something very undersireable in another. This tool can block the specific application from using the undersireable hotkey in that application, but allow it in all others.
Uses Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5.1. This is installed on Windows 8 and 10 by default. Windows XP, 7, and Vista will require an upgrade.
